Wednesday it was almost 90 degrees here so Sam went swimming for the first time!!!!! Ab and I took the kids to the pool at our place for the afternoon. Sam did such a great job!!! We started by walking around for a bit to get used to the water and then I put him in his funny lilly pad floaty thing. He loved it... laid back and lounged... leaned forward and licked the water as it spashed up... looked all around!!!! We even practiced laying on his back in the water and relaxing so I'm sure he will be black floating by summer's end! Being an old life guard and swimming lesson instructor, it's funny how proud and excited it makes me to watch him enjoying the water.

Cashed after his first swimming adventure-
Then last night, Bryan and I took Sam to a nearby rec to swim indoors and show his dad all of the tricks he has already learned in the pool! Sam did even better here... splashed around a ton... giggled... swam on his tummy and his back... floated with mom and dad in the little lazy river/ current pool!!! It was so much fun! Pretty sure our entire summer will be spent at the pool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
