70 Degrees in January... Denver!!???
I wanted to take a minute to brag about the BEAUTIFUL weather we have had these past two days in Denver. Yesterday it was 68 and today, a record-setting 72 degrees!!! Sam even wore a little shorts outfit (I'm thankful he was able to wear one warm weather outfit that size before he's too big!). He and I went for a long walk through Matt and Ab's neighborhood and then we played for a bit in Kate and Luke's backyard. Daniel slept through the festivities and missed out but here are a few cute pictures of the three of them in the gorgeous weather today! PS- Sorry all of you FL folk... I know it was only 30-something there today too! : )

Sick Boys At Our House
Both Sam and Bryan have been under the weather these last few days so it's been kind of a long week at our house. Bryan was home two days from work even but seems to be on the mend. Sam has had a couple of his toughest nights ever battling a terrible cough and some major congestion. The doctor checked him out yesterday and said things would just need to run their course over the next week or so. He has been a bit out of it and struggled to sleep soundly at night but we've seen moments of our normal boy. We are being mean parents and putting a short video of him online that we think is funny. He is pretty smiley but really quiet/wobbly/tired. You'll see a cough attack, a burp, drooling, him getting told that he looks terrible and then a huge snot bubble! Not pretty and even worse that we laugh at him and his misery but we thought we should share anyways! Hopefully the next few days bring better health to the Rempt house!

Shots Again!
Sam had his 4 month appointment with our pediatrician this afternoon. He was 15 pounds 9 ounces (60th percentile) and 25.6 inches long (75th). He has been in the 50th percentile in all categories up until this point so our boy is starting to get big! He got 4 shots and took them like a champ. The doctor was really happy with all of his developmental stuff so it appears we are right on track and have a happy, healthy boy!

4 Wonderful Months
Saturday our little boy turned four months old. It's hard for Bryan and I to believe! We wanted to share a few pictures to show how he has changed in the last few months. He now smiles and giggles all the time, sucks/chews on his fingers, loves to work his extremities and core, rolls to his sides, and has lost most of his wild hair. We are thankful each day for his sweet little noises and cries. He is a happy little guy and we couldn't be more proud! Take a look at these few pictures from the last four months...

Sam's New Friend
While in IA we got to meet my great friend Jen's new little girl. Anna is 6 weeks younger than Sam and what a difference 6 weeks make! Jen and I really enjoyed going through our pregnancies together and it's been even better to share about our new little ones and all of the firsts and unknowns we are experiencing. I'm sure Sam and Anna will be great friends and playmates!
